Afghan music reflects the cultural, linguistic, and ethnic diversity of this land—a music shaped in deep connection with the everyday lives of its people, their narratives, rituals, and collective memory. From the urban music of Kabul to the regional melodies of the Hazaragi, Pashto, Uzbek, Tajik, and other musical traditions, each carries its own distinct acoustic world and character.
Instruments such as the dambura, rubab, tabla, and harmonium have played a pivotal role in giving shape to this musical universe. Throughout history, Afghan music has drawn influence from neighboring cultures while continuously preserving its own independent identity and characteristics.
This performance is an effort to experience a fragment of this rich diversity and to journey along with the melodies and stories that arise directly from the culture and lives of the people of Afghanistan.

This event is held to support the construction of a school and a water dam in Afghanistan, as well as to assist vulnerable communities and war-affected families in Iran.
